Samsung French Door Refrigerator Door Flap Problem

That door is the one with the little flap on it that allows the 2 doors to seal in the middle of the fridge.

If when you open the left hand door the mullion flap. The problem is not with the door or the door hinges itself. The flap on the fridge ice dispenser cycles open closed endlessly. This appears to be a common long standing samsung problem but haven t found a fix online.

Periodically the ice maker flap in the door will cycle continously opening and closing. Cost would be 250 300 with part labor and service. They said you will need to replace the mullion flap piece. I have the above listed samsung french door fridge.

Left side french door flap on samsung refrigerator didn t retract when closing. The left door as you look at the fridge was open and i stood up from underneath it ooooowwww. Similar problem to others reported here to samsung without solution. Appears to be wire harness issue.

Nothing seems to reliably work to stop it opening closing door pushing ice water dispenser buttons tried everything i can think of. Unpluggin fridge waited close to a minute.
