Samsung Led Wallet Cover Note 8 Not Working

I had the same issue. I also have the same issue with my note 8. What i suspect is that even though it is using nfc to send the data to the cover there must be a battery in the cover that is now dead. Hey guys i have had my note 9 and it was bundled with the note 9 led wallet case.

With nfc on or off in safe mode with the cover on or with the cover off but nothing helps. Took it to a samsung shop they place it in one of their spares and worked. Known issue and samsung is refusing to admit it. I got the led wallet case for my galaxy s8 about 5 months ago and when i did a system update on my phone the led notification screen on the phone case stopped working. Led case note 9.
